Braille Institute of Los Angeles is offering a FREE seminar on four Fridays, from 10:00 am to Noon each of the four Fridays, for persons who are experiencing difficulties in daily living due to sight loss.

August 10: Low Vision Presentation/Appointments; Understanding Visual Loss for families (and friends); Sound Solutions Presentation.

August 17: Rediscover the jobs of reading; Organize and identify your money; California Telephone Access Program.

August 24: Learn about "Vistas," the Braille Institute retail store; Overview of Braille Institute classes; Practice using low vision devices; Low Vision Rehabilitation consultations.

August 31: Independent living skills; How to mark and label household items; Orientation and mobility (getting around in the real world with a vision loss); Low Vision Rehabilitation consultations.

Seminar Location for all four Friday sessions: Bryson Apartments, 2701 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90057.
