During the weekend of April 28-30 there was a National Racquetball Tournament for the Deaf at the Meridian Sports Club in Fullerton, California that was attended by over 100 deaf and hard of hearing people including about 78 players from all over the country that came to play in the tournament. Rey Llarena, the Vice President and Webmaster of WRAD won both Men Open and Men A Events and he was truly a champion. He got trophies and cash as prizes at the tournament. Congratulations to Reynaldo Llarena of West Hills, California!!!! It was the 21st National Racquetball Tournament and Kenneth Clark of Riverside, California was the Chairperson. Bill Milbach of Silver Spring, Maryland is the President of the National Racquetball Association of the Deaf and he came all the way from Maryland to be part of the tournament weekend.
